Way back in 2016, one evening in a sleepy country pub, Mikey and James (a few pints deep) joked about how fun an anarcho-capitalist card game would be.
To Mikey's surprise, the next week James brought along a set of improvised cards that brought that idea to life. Mikey immediately came on board as a co-founder to help develop the idea further.
That idea, over an 8 year long collaborative development period, matured into Magnate and the wider compass collection... and the rest is history including Mikey's drinking.
